Moving main discussion to groups.drupal.org
Hi all,
At the DrupalCon BoF on the CRM, the consensus among the group was that the best place to conduct discussion about the various issues and tasks facing the project was on the Drupal group at http://groups.drupal.org/crm-api. The issue queue at http://drupal.org/project/crm will still be used for code- (and documentation-) specific issues, but to keep everyone informed in the most Drupal way possible, the groups were chosen.
That said, mention was made of using this site almost like a brochureware site to promote the finished article to people who neither know nor care that the CRM runs on Drupal (potential users of the CRM system).

I've added a notice to the forum page to direct people to g.d.o.
I think it's a fine place for general discussion, but it seems to me the scope of that group is much broader than what I envision for DropCRM, so I think there may be value in maintaining a space that we have total control of.
I was under the impression that the maintainer of CRM module was not on-board with our approach, so that seems to be the wrong queue for issue tracking. Has that changed?
Yes the project is fine!
I see what you're saying about the scope of the group. I think the way it used to be, there was very little discussion, and the discussion was of a wide scope. Provided we keep using it, it will become much busier, and the scope will narrow by itself.
With respect to the crm project on drupal.org, Allie was at the BoF at DrupalCon and we have reached the consensus that we are all after the same thing, which is the best possible Drupal-based CRM.
